Daniella Perez was a Brazilian actress who was brutally murdered on December 28, 1992. The murder was committed by Guilherme de Pádua, her co-star on the Brazilian soap opera "De Corpo e Alma" (Body and Soul), and his wife Paula Thomaz. They reportedly chased Perez down the street and stabbed her multiple times before running her over with their car. De Pádua later confessed to the crime, claiming that he was under the influence of drugs and possessed by evil spirits at the time. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison, while Thomaz was sentenced to 18 years. Both were released after serving less than two-thirds of their sentences.
